I am now deep into the Editing process. I believe I am currently on track with the deadline fast approaching. I have nearly edited all on the shots from shot 1 (Clevedon.) I used a variety of shots and cuts such as. Fade Cuts and Straight Cuts. I believe I have demonstrated a large amount of shots which I will talk about in my next blog. I have been heavily inspired by a variety of films for my cuts. Edgar Wright who directed films like Hot Fuzz uses a variety for different original cuts. This is an ideal example of snappy cuts which I would like to use.

Research into Similar Products
This is a variety of different examples of Indie Digipaks. As you can see they all mostly follow similar codes and conventions. They are all mostly either black and white or show very minimalistic colour apart from a few. This may because indie artists mainly believe most about the music than the artwork therefore do not try to get there album to stand out a such as others do for example the pop genre mostly use bright colours like yellow because they are very commercial. As you can see from the image below of Katy Perry's Album.

Research into similar products
As my moving image product also requires that I make a digipak for my artist I have recently been looking into a variety of different ones which I think I may be able to take inspiration from. As you can see I featured The Arctic Monkey's. They are artist which I am going to be inspired be throughout. They have a clear theme throughout. Smoking is a predominant one. Smoking fits the indie genre therefore that is one reason why they may of use this. As you can see the front cover he is taking a drag. The actually CD features a variety for cigarettes ends. The back of the digital shoes the male rubbing his eye due to getting smoke in it.

Organisation
Due to my cast being very reliable I checked my footage and unfortunately had to retake some shots. As you can see from my storyboard the last couple of shots featured the 'Grandad' character and the 'Granny' Character. The shots were shaky and didn't show my full capability. Luckily, these were shots from the Birmingham shoot so didn't have ti go all the way to Clevedon to redo my shots

Drafting and Planning
I have now completed my filming and there are some still images from a variety of shots I took over the filming process. As you can see the the location is ideal for the scene which I was aiming to create. Once I start to piece all my different shots together I believe it will look like a realistic indie music video.

Organisation
I believe that I have all the things which I may need for my media project put into a list ready for today's filming. I am filming for 12-4 because I think the weather will be gloomy which sets the mood perfectly for my video. Personally, I believe once I have filmed all the shots for the Birmingham shoot. I can they start the Editing process which I believe is the hardest part. I have chosen today to film due to the weather settling the sad monotone scene who h I want to portray in the Birmingham Shoot.

Drafting and Planning
In the blog completed on the 11th January, I mentioned that I will be using the Editing software Movie Plus X6. Since then I have encountered some problems regarding this process. All the files which I have filmed were not supported and therefore all crashed. I had to then transfer all the files to my teachers laptop and then he had to change them to a file which was supported within MoviePlus. I also had some difficulty organising and separating some shots which I had filmed. This set me back some time therefore I will stay behind to ensure I stay on schedule. I am planning on filming my second shoot tomorrow therefore will have to edit it all together. I believe this is a minor set back but will allow me to have all the filming out of the way and have nearly a month to prepare for my editing
